Whitetail Deer “Freedom Mount”

I started out with a 14-inch diameter Black Walnut Round and chiseled out the cracks and removed the bark. To prevent further cracking and tie in the dark tree rings, I cast black epoxy resin and routed out an inlay to mount the hook to hold the skull.

This is my take on the traditional “Euro Mount” style of skull display and I believe it makes for a more beautiful display of your trophy and turns your adventure into a centerpiece item for your home
